Traditionally, tanks for storing reserve fire-fighting water reserves are made of low-alloy or stainless steel, concrete rings or concrete monolith. However, these technologies require very high costs during construction. In addition, it is necessary to carry out their regular anti-corrosion treatment. But even with it, the service life of such structures is not very long, and their tightness is broken quickly enough.

What types are there?
Depending on many factors (required volume, availability of free space, scale of production), elastic tanks, as well as concrete ones, can be of four types:
• aboveground – quite easy to install and allow you to have access to water directly near the required object;
• underground – also simplify access to water, but are used in cases of lack of free space and require significant excavation and preparatory work, preparation of the foundation, special reinforcement and many other measures;
• horizontal – used, as a rule, above the ground to save space;
• vertical – used in underground bunkers, as they allow you to significantly save on excavation and fixing work.
